While using my TRAILHAWK on some trail roads in NC, the skid plate that covers the mid section of the exhaust acted as a scoop and grabbed up dirt/debris nestled between the plate and muffler. The exhaust was hot enough to dry out extremely wet sand and pine straw and then ignite it! Luckily it happened in my driveway, so I immediately grabbed the hose and put out the fire. I removed the skid plate and found no damage, aside from the car smelling like a camp fire. There needs to be a serious fix to keep these skid plates from trapping flammable debris up against the exhaust.
