Screens switches to Italian, also screens freeze or go blank, Front Collision Warning (FCW) light illuminates and can't be turned off. Bluetooth randomly disconnects, Auto door locks don't engage; paddle shifters for manual gear selection cease functioning, pedestrian avoidance, automatic emergency braking, and high-beam assist stop working; memory seats unexpectedly adjust while driving. I have to bring the car to the dealer to fix this, this happens every 14 days or so.

Driving home and car had a sudden loss of power randomly while driving. It would not restart until 5-10 minutes later despite multiple start/stop attempts. On the screen it stated to -??plug in to condition battery.-?? We were in the left lane on a busy road with construction and were almost rear ended multiple times while car was not functional. Have had multiple issues with battery on this 4xe - did recent software update at dealer. I have taken it to dealer previously for battery code (service battery) and they stated they can see code, but unsure of what problem is. No warning lights prior to incident. It sounds like through reviewing on internet this is a common problem with 4xe vehicles and if it hasn-??t killed someone yet, it certainly will. We did call 911 for assistance due to the vehicle being disabled in middle of highway, but no official report was made.

Timing cover leak, replaced by dealer once covered under warranty. Few months later same leak occurred in the same park after dealer replacement. Back to the dealer to have checked, dealer found that the head gasket during manufacture/casting has defect causing the head gasket to protrude into the mounting surface for the timing cover gasket/seal causing improper seal and securement. Dealer got Jeep engineers involved and found it was during manufacture and assembly/casting process. New head gasket being replaced and installed inspection of all mounting surfaces on cylinders valves and pistons for additional damage, and replacing timing cover gasket again. This caused loss of engine oil over time even after dealer fix and replacement the first time, this could cause drivers to not know they are low on engine oil causing potential catastrophic engine damage or failure/seizing during normal operating conditions. This is a common failure in the Jeep 4xe of timing cover seal issues and leaks.

The car will cut off and loose power due to the battery issue It has been in the shop 5 or 6 times for this issue and some of the stays were over 30 days at a time They said they have no fix for the repair needed not to drive it but no one can make payments on a car and not drive it for months waiting on a repair. They refused to buy the car back or replace it with a new one.

After dealer installed recall 24V-720 on 1/15/2025, I started seeing Red Wrench light and warning to Service Hybrid System a few times each month. The warnings only flashed for a few seconds and disappeared - no service engine light. Also, the vehicle failed to charge about half the time. In early May, I was driving (in hybrid mode) about 45 miles per hour, and the Red Wrench light and warning to Service Hybrid System flashed and disappeared. The car would NOT accelerate! I DRIFTED to a safe spot, turned off the car, and restarted and now could accelerate. I was lucky! I brought the vehicle to Jeep on May 19, 2025. It was there for about 10 days and they found nothing - not able to reproduce and no errors logged, etc. They created a STAR Case (#1020705742) and still no solution. This is exactly recall 25V-576. The vehicle always charges now even though Jeep says they only cleared other errors. I brought the vehicle to Jeep on September 10 and they didn't see any saved errors. NO updates to STAR Case. I continue to see the Red Wrench light and warning to Service Hybrid System every week or so. But, have only lost power once. I'm afraid to drive the vehicle - always looking for a place to safely stop. How can a vehicle lose power and not log a Service Engine error! I need a FIX! I looked at selling the vehicle but it has lost a lot of value likely due to all the recalls. I believe the battery has issues and should be replaced. Recall 24V-720 only installed software to watch the battery. However, nothing is ever logged.

On September 10th, 2025, at approximately 7:45am, I was driving my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe at 57 mph on the freeway during heavy traffic. The -??Service Hybrid Electrical System-?? warning appeared, and the vehicle immediately stalled and forced itself into emergency park while in motion. This sudden failure created a severe safety hazard for myself and surrounding drivers. I experienced an anxiety attack from the incident and had to call my husband for help. This is not the first time the vehicle has stalled, but it is the most dangerous occurrence to date. This vehicle is unsafe and poses a life-threatening risk on public roads.

I am a victim of SUA (sudden unintended acceleration. I entered my driveway and had my foot on the brake petal. Before I could shift into Park, the vehicle revved to a high RPM and then took off like a rocket. Brakes were initially hard to press and then the petal went to the floor, and I lost the brakes. This all happened very quickly and took me by surprise. I crashed through a double cyclone gate, closed garage door, back of the garage, double fence in back of garage, neighbors jacuzie and shed, hit the side of another neighbor's house and AC unit. It seemed that the power train electronics malfunctioned and caused all of this. Progressive insurance took procession of the vehicle and declared it a total loss.

Multiple warnings with the service hybrid system alert coming on the dash. Code B273C-00 was confirmed by the technician at the Napleton Jeep service department. Vehicle can shut off at any time at any speed and there is no resolution at this time to fix the issue. When accelerating over uneven surfaces, the vehicle bucks back and forth violently. This concern was verified with the technician at Napleton Jeep. The shop Foreman contacted Chrysler zone engineering and confirmed that they are aware of this issue but there is no current resolution for this issue. This is highly dangerous when pulling out into traffic.

While driving on the freeway, the vehicle suddenly lost all power and control. The -??Service Hybrid System-?? warning began flashing, and I experienced a complete powertrain failure. As the vehicle coasted down to under 5 mph, it abruptly slammed into the electronic parking brake and came to a hard stop. This created a serious safety hazard not only for me but for other drivers on the road. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealership, where it required a jump-start to regain power. The dealer has been unable to replicate the issue, and no diagnostic trouble codes were found during their scan. Despite this, the failure was severe and unpredictable. There were no warning lights or symptoms prior to the event. The vehicle is currently at the dealership and available for inspection.

On three different occasions, the Jeep randomly turned off on its own. Each time I was stopped, so thankfully I was not injured. I brought it to two different dealerships, one in May 2025 and one in July 2025, and neither of them could fix it. The last dealership advised me not to drive the vehicle due to the safety implications of a stall during driving due to "the digital crash input issue". As a result, I sold my Jeep and bought another vehicle. The vehicle was still under warranty when I sold it.

While driving in Hybrid mode, the Jeep threw itself into park. I was at the middle of an intersection. I put it back in drive, then it did it again once I started moving. 1. The hybrid mode threw the car into park while moving. 2. This happened to me a few times in a row, but once in the middle of a major intersection. I was lucky there were no cars that crashed into me. 3. I have brought this into Chrysler, Jeep, Doge of Paulding (Georgia) and they have reached out to the engineers at Chrysler. The service department is telling me that Chrysler is telling them there is no fix to this. I put in a ticket with Chrysler as well and they confirmed this. My ticket number is 93581933 4. the vehicle has only been inspected by the service department at the dealership. 5. I did get a hybrid engine maintenance light one time when it went into park. But not each time it did it.

Within days after completing the 95b recall (24v-720) on my Grand Cherokee 4xe PHEV, the vehicle would periodically flash an error message saying -??service hybrid system-?? or something to that effect. It would illuminate for just a few seconds. On May 21, I took the vehicle back to the dealership (Brigham-Gill, Natick, MA). They read several codes and after conferring with Jeep, said the vehicle is unsafe to drive. It has remained there parked in their backlot as of July 15. The dealership is awaiting guidance from Jeep and informed me they have several others in the same situation. So there were few issues here 1) if I hadn-??t returned to the dealership to ask about these brief flashing messages, I would not have known that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. These messages never stayed illuminated for more than a few seconds, and there is no residual -??check engine-?? light. 2) it is incorrect to say that the 95B recall addressed the issue of the failing batteries if it renders the vehicle in operable. 3) the 95B recall patch software was released in January 2025. I find it hard to believe that as of mid July they-??ve been unable to find out why it doesn-??t work in all the vehicles as intended. This leads me to question the thoroughness of the regression testing before it was released.

The red wrench light keeps coming on, Hybrid system needs repair. It looses power for a short period of time, every time has been on the freeway. It makes a hugh crunch noise(transmission) and slams into gear. It is available for inspection, currently at dealership, it has been there for last week. This problem has been persistent, its been in many times for this issue. Chrysler told me they do not have a fix. It is all over the chat forums. We do not feel safe driving this car because it looses power temporarily and on the freeway. Many others are having problems with it stopping from a loss of power. It has been inspected by the dealership and in for repairs many times. This vehicle has been in the dealership on a regular basis since it was new. It has always had a power train issue, clunky and loss of power. Now it is worse and they don't have a repair. It has also had engine lights coming on and off. Had issue with having to put it in park turn off and turn back on to get it in gear. The loss of power on the freeway is the persistent issue right now. These cars need pulled off the roads until they are fixed!

Vehicle suffers from a documented hybrid defect (DTC B273C-00) that causes loss of electric propulsion, disables hybrid modes, and triggers "Service Hybrid Electric Vehicle System" warnings. The problem first appeared around Feb 2025 and was confirmed by FCA-??s own STAR bulletins and dealership diagnostics. No validated fix exists; dealership only cleared the fault code temporarily. The defect led to: -?? Power loss during highway merge on [XXX], with children in the car -?? Sudden unintended acceleration on [XXX] -?? Persistent warnings and failure to operate in advertised hybrid/electric modes for over 120+ days FCA refused to repurchase, replace, or permanently repair, despite acknowledging the defect and safety risk in internal documents. The vehicle remains in ICE-only mode, depriving it of the key safety and efficiency features it was designed to provide. The defect significantly raises risk of collision due to unpredictable propulsion response, and no dealership or FCA representative provided written certification the vehicle is safe in all drive modes. Vehicle purchased in Wisconsin but always registered and operated exclusively in Illinois. Arbitration through NCDS confirmed the defect exists but denied relief, citing insufficient corroboration. Problem was reproduced and confirmed by certified dealership and documented in service records. This complaint is part of an ongoing concern that hybrid system EMI issues (like DTC B273C-00) pose systemic safety risk and remain unresolved. Driving vehicle and it lost all power. Warning light for Service PHEV came on solid on dash. Switched to ESave and was able to drive approx 2 blocks and vehicle lost power again in middle of road. Shifted to neutral, restarted and was able to side of road. Called tow company to deliver to dealer. Side note- vehicle was in dealer on 6/30 with flashing Service PHEV light; dealer ran code and returned with DTC of B273C-00 (Digital Crash Input). Dealer stated that vehicle is going into a -??limp mode-?? due to 95B software update, and that there is not a fix, and other vehicles are at dealership unable to repair. When asked for advice what I should do, the response was -?? do not take a long road trip-??. I drove approx 60 miles since and the vehicle went into solid limp mode. Being evaluated at dealership currently.

In January work related to recall 95B was performed on the Jeep. The next day the issues started with a warning light indicating the Hybrid System needed service. The Jeep has been in repair for this issue 6 times and over 56 days with no resolution. It is currently in for repair. A buy back request was made but both FCA and the arbitrators indicate it is not a safety concern. There are safety concerns related to the Warning light as it appears to impact electrical communications in the vehicle. Repair notes indicate the communication issues. Also, power steering has stopped working and the engine has died while driving causing a rapid deceleration. Multiple users are reporting the same issues or additional impact related to the Hybrid warning light that started after 95B work.
