I hauled a trailer, based on the rated weight of this vehicle, across country. The so called weight rating was 2000 lbs for my Jeep. I decided to haul 1000 to be on the safe side. In 2010, after my move, I lost the clutch, pressure plate and threw out bearing. I would not haul anything with this vehicle after that event. Do not believe even the owners manual when it comes to this information. Jeep is junk. I am moving to Toyota.
