The engine floored its self in traffic with out touching the gas pedal. Idiot lights came on. It did this three times in a row. Dealer ship says NOTHING IS WRONG! Says nothing shows up on the diagnostic tests. Claims it was the slush mat that caused it to floor itself! We refuse to take the jeep back yet from the dealership. This is a real safety issue.
The dealership kept the vehicle for a week at our request. The original floor mat must be removed and the new slush mat installed with the hook securing it so that the slush mat cannot slide forward and hit the gas. Have not had the problem again.
