Taillights kept going out and changing the bulbs. Noticed one time the bulb was cracked. Looked inside and saw that the reflector shield inside was melted and curved so it was touching the bulb and popping them out. Had to replace the bulbs with new LED bulbs and cut and remove the melted plastic from inside the lens. Also replaced the sockets because they were cooked to a crisp. NO Recall, not covered.
Jeep dealership knew about the issue and suggested I pay 400-500 dollars for new light assemblies.
