The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Patriot. The contact stated that while driving through a stop light, another vehicle run the red light and crashed into the front right side of the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact stated medical attention was required as she sustained back, arm and neck injuries as well as the front seat passenger sustained back, neck and shoulder injuries. The contact mention that due to the impact the front passenger seat belt buckle fractured. The other driver did not sustain injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was drivable. The vehicle was taken to the insurance mechanic but was not diagnosed or repaired but was informed about the accident damage. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
