When I turn on the Jeep within about 5 minutes of having the lights on, they will start to flicker on and off randomly. The tail lights stay on and the ambers dim a little when the headlights go out. When the problem first started, if I turned off the Jeep for a minute or so and restarted it the lights would work for a little while then go out again, but now it is constant. I can't even drive around the block without issues. It is a pain in the butt because you can't drive at night without headlights. This happened once before about 6 months prior and I was able to fix that with a new switch for under the dash for about $20 and had no issues until this started happening in July. I have checked everything I could think of and the only thing left to try was a new wire set. I found a website online with a guy who had the same issues and he has a very detailed video of how to fix the issue along with a link to the wire set bought (about $30). Hopefully this will be a fix for the issue because I miss driving my Jeep at night.
