While vehicle is parked would apply emergency brake, but pawl will release by itself. Sometimes vehicle had rolled. Consumer also states that while driving when brakes are applied the rear brakes do not grab.

When it is wet outside, or dew on the ground rear brakes grab really hard even though just barely touching brake pedal, the only way consumer has found to fix, is to lightly touch brakes while driving then they work normal.
