opda laughing monkeys failure
This issue leads to engine failure. The oil pump will seize up. there is a tech bulletin, however I'm unsure if there was ever a recall issued for my Jeep. The dealership charges an arm and a leg to fix an issue that they created. Even just for reimbursement you have to jump through hoops for them to pay you and it's a 50/50 chance. I love my Jeep, but they apparently didn't when they were building it. I'm looking into fixing it myself, it seems like it could be easy enough if only it weren't 4 degrees out.
