When you pay for a new car you should get 100k without issue if you take care of it. Where's an attorney when you need one?

Wrangler Sahara 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Have an annoying "ping" to my engine upon start up - sounds worse when idling than when driving (probably because I cannot hear it then). Took it to a trusted mechanic, he believes it is in the "lifter" and should be covered by warranty.

Wrangler Sport 3.2L V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 7,000 miles

Dealer updated PCM during service of engine oil cooler. Ever since then I have spark knock. Never had spark knock prior to PCM update. Dealer has not yet agreed to diagnose for spark knock. Still working with dealer. Dealer cause the issue while vehicle under warranty. Issue not yet resolved however warranty has now expired. Working with dealer to get assurance that issue they created will be covered under warranty or at expense to dealer.
