This particular jeep has been in 2 accidents where partial front and complete front impact occurred with zero airbag deployment. 1st wreck was 33k in damages with a bent frame and second was 10k. Both accidents bumpers needed replaced. Aug 28 2023 wreck was Jeep struck power pole [broke in two] at around 45mph and Feb 11 2024 centered a tree after striking a deer 15mph
The electrical connection in the seatbelt breaks causing the airbag and seatbelt light to constantly illuminate not knowing if the break would cause the airbags from deploying
The contact-€™s daughter owned a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving at an unknown speed, another vehicle crashed into the front passenger-€™s side of the vehicle and another vehicle crashed into the front driver-€™s side of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to roll three times. The contact stated that the air bags failed to deploy. As a result of the air bag-€™s failure to perform as needed, the passenger sustained injuries to the chest and head, and also had a seizure. The contact-€™s daughter sustained an injury to the head and punctured lungs. Medical attention was required. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and deemed a total loss by the insurance company. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.
