after many miles and have the car out of warranty I now have a problem. The car does not have a spare tire, and yes I saw the while buying the car. However having a flat tire and not having a way to repair it becuse the tire is not reparable,side wall blown out. I requested Kia to help me and give me a spair tire, Their answer is they are sorry but being out of warranty they told me to take a hike. Never again will I buy any car from any manufacture without a spare tire. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. In other respects they seem to try to helpful but in the case of safety the are unconcerned.
I know some car companies don't have spares and have runflats in lieu of the spare, but my optima came with some loud cheap nexen tires, not run flats... there's a little tire goo kit in the trunk but no spare... it just seems silly to me
