My car only has 61,000 miles for 2013 car. My car is going through so much oil, I have to put at least a quart of oil about every 1000 miles. There's no oil light coming on. I get regular oil changes. I checked it last year because the engine sounded noisy, like dry sounding. The oil dipstick was dry, even though I had an oil change within the last 6 months. Took it to dealer and they said there was no recall for excessive oil consumption. They said there was nothing they could do unless something happened to the engine. So its like I'm supposed to let the engine fail because of lack of oil, or just constantly keep putting oil in it without addressing the case of the problem. They'd rather wait for the engine to fail and change the whole engine, than fix the problem at their expense before that happens. My cars mileage is really low for the year it is. I shouldn't be having this issue!
