So... For the first time ever, I treated myself to a brand new vehicle instead of buying one used. I loved everything about my car!! Now, after having it for a little over a year, I hope nobody I know sees me get in it because the door handle sticks when you try to open it. Then you have to push it in and try it again. On a good attempt, it only takes 2 tries and I can pretend that I forgot to unlock the door. But other times, it may take 5 or more tries to get the door open. Can you say "EMBARASSING"? I wouldn't mind it so much if I were in an old beat up Taurus or something, but not my 2015 Optima!! And apparently, I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I have an appointment at the dealership tomorrow.... Wish me luck!

I tried to open the drivers side door and the door handle got stuck when I pulled on it. The door would not open and I had to manually push the handle back in an try it again. Things like this are supposed to happen to older cars but my Optima is barely 10 months old. It was already in the shop for 5 days because it would not start. Come to find out it was just a loose wire on the starter button. If the car is having problems this soon, I'm nervous what is going to happen by the end of the less in 3 years. Is there anything I can do to get out of this lease?
