CarComplaints.com Notes: As long as catastrophic engine failure at under 60,000 miles is the top owner complaint, it'll be pretty hard to recommend the 2012 Sorento.
This noise just started and I took it right in to a Kia dealer... He listened, acknowledged that he heard it and then said it was normal. How come I never heard it prior to this time??? Each time you apply the brakes, a clicking sound is heard and then again when you release and reapply. It is extremely annoying. He said all KIAs make that sound and offered to show me with another new KIA...He couldn't make it happen!!!!
I notice noises in my car and this definitely is a new and annoying sound. My wife even acknowledged that she hadn't heard it do this before. I will be buying another new car before year's end and this would definitely influence my decision.
