Lincoln TSB #SSM 48912
2020 Lincoln Aviator
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT
- Summary
- Some 2020 Aviator vehicles equipped with Reserve, Grand Touring, or Black Label trim packages built on or before 12-Mar-2020 may exhibit a discharged battery/no crank condition. This may be due to a parasitic battery draw caused by software in the rear audio control module (RACM). To correct the condition, reprogram the RACM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18E261 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
