I couldn't believe this throttle valve required replacement after just 14K miles. i experienced total loss of power and fortunately was able to pull over safely, shut the vehicle off and drive another 200 miles - not knowing what was really going on since none of the lights displayed were found in the manual to indicate what to do when they appeared, only what the feature was. Drove fine for a few more days but then it occurred again - of course when I was 350 miles away from home. I found a Ford dealership that fortunately had the part and replaced it. Unfortunately, for how long? Unless Ford/Lincoln has figured out why these parts fail, It's bound to happen again!
