Front differential failure in a 2005 Nissan Armada with 71,000 miles. Needs to have the diff replaced and not covered under warranty. Many other cases of the exact same problem just by viewing a simple online search. Seems to be a very dangerous design flaw.

4X4 front differential pinion seal blew out while driving through a deadly snow blizzard to get home. This is the 2nd pinion seal on the front differential that's been replaced. The first was at about 40K miles and the second at around 68K miles. Front differential failures are becoming common in Nissan titans and Armadas, especially when used to drive home through snow storms when they're needed the most.
