The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Armada. While the vehicle was parked, the contact noticed the rear automatic lift gate released without assistance. The identical failure would occur when the vehicle was in motion. The failure occurrences were intermittent. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on nine different times for the lift gate failure. The technician replaced the lift gate latch and computer system wiring.
