I just bought a Nissan Juke 5 weeks ago still under warranty, they say a rock hit the condenser and created a puncture so now the freon leaks and the air conditioner does not work, Know Charlie Clark Nissan the car dealer want's to charge me 1,000 dollars to fix it. They say the warranty does not cover it.

I believe this is a manufacturer design flaw -- they put huge holes in the front cover that expose the condenser to rocks or any kind of debris that can hit and puncture it. I know I am afraid to drive it cause we do live in a planet that is made of rock, so this problem is going to occur again and again and again. I don't have 1,000 dollars to throw, who to say it won't happen in two weeks or one month or next day, so I have to pay! pay! pay! if I want to drive. They need to admit there is a problem and recall and fix the problem, cause the consumer is getting screw!
