There was a recall on the 2019 Nissan Kicks CVT Transmission. But not on the 2020. My car is a 2020. After I bought it, I found out that it already needed a transmission. Now the transmission has failed, a few months later. Neither the original warranty or the extended warranty will cover the cost, which is $7100 (parts and service).
Calling the Nissan Consumer Affairs number didn't do me any good. Mohamed said they can't help me, since there is no recall and it was not within the original warranty limitations.
