The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on the rear right wheel of the vehicle is damaged and has become a safety concern. Instead of providing the intended assistance, the warning light has remained constantly on, regardless of the actual tire condition. Because the alert is always active, it has lost its effectiveness as a warning tool.

On one particular occasion, the rear right tire was completely deflated, but since the TPMS light was already illuminated as usual, the driver did not realize that the tire pressure was critically low. As a result, the vehicle was driven for an extended distance with the tire flat. This prolonged use in an underinflated condition caused significant damage to the tire, compromising both safety and performance.

In conclusion, the malfunctioning sensor has turned into a risk rather than a preventive measure.
