The fuel gauge is malfunctioning. When filling the vehicle, the needle goes beyond the F mark or drops to the E mark triggering the low fuel light to come on. According to my research, this was found to be a recall in the quest however many other owners of other Nissan models are reporting the same issues. An investigation really needs to be launched.
