THOUGHT THAT I WAS BUYING GREAT NEW CAR IN (2011) HAD (3.0) MILES ON IT @ TIME OF PURCHASE. I read all the car reviews form all the car magazines, road & track, motortrend, etc. Car has travelled on highways mostly - East Coast only. Car has always, always been serviced up until )1/2022 @ Nissan dealerships for huge cash! No after market parts, ever. Not for my car. I'm (2022) things began to go wrong: CVT Axles, more things than I can remember! I have all of the original receipts showing car maintenance & repairs. I n (2019) I lost my job, nothing since. Engineering (20) yrs. NO OFFROAD DRIVING, EVER! NO HAULING OF THINGS, EVER. At 140,000, transmission is shuddering despite proper maintenance, fluid changes, etc. I live in high cold/ high snow region. Never drove over anything or had car accidents, ever. Was a great car, originally...now in its seniority I am hearing of transmission & axle problems over & over. Dealerships where car was service have kept all of this a secret. Repair prices have skyrocketed! I can no longer to support the maintenance let alone repair a transmission living on SOCIAL SECURITY. I AM SO OVERWHELMED WITH ALL OF THE REPAIRS, MONTH AFTER MONTH ON THIS CAR. I have no idea where to turn for help with this? Even the garage has no solutions. Awful!

My wife called me telling me her car was making a strange noise and shuttering. She was right next to an independent shop and had them take a look. They put it on the lift and put the car in gear. When they accelerated they said the transmission was bucking on its mounts. They're guess was the drive line / shaft but we also suspected the transmission. They didn't want to work on it so we had it towed to a Nissan dealer suspecting that it might also be a transmission issue with the transmission we had replaced 8000 miles earlier.

Nissan diagnosed the issue as ceased U Joints in the drive line. The only solution is to replace the drive line. $1200 later the car was back on the road. After spending $4000 on a transmission and this latest repair I will probably never buy another Nissan product again.
