I will never invest in a Nissan again.
I bought a Rogue 4 years ago, worked my ass off to pay it off in two years. Right after it's paid off, the 'computer system' in my engine ruptured. It was so bad to the point that I was driving on the highway, all of my warning lights came on, I pulled over and my push to start WOULDN'T TURN OFF MY CAR. So my engine is smoking, my car will not turn off (there is no easy kill switch,) I'm struggling to get my dog out and away from the car incase it explodes, the fire department is called - has NO idea how to turn my car off and stop the smoking. My brother, whose an engineer, came and ended up finding some sort of kill switch way down in the engine. When Nissan looked at it and replaced the computer system (2k out of my pocket) he said "good thing you found a way to turn this off. It would have blown up the engine." Okay? cool.
Coming up on today, where I have only owned the car for a little less than 4 years. My transfer case fails. Great! Here goes another $4500 to stupid Nissan. Most unreliable car ever. So a good 24k down the drain for not even 4 years under my belt.
Shame on you, Nissan
