When this problem first started I went to the dealer to get my oil changed and advised the tech of the problem. He advised me that it was a sealed transmission and there was nothing they can do and it will get worst. Well, it has gotten worst and now they tell me that it's out of warranty. I was given the 800 number to call - they tell me that they knew of the problem and they will cover 80% to have it replaced. I called and now they tell me again it's out of warranty. If they knew about this problem how come thy never made a recall on them. Now I may be stuck with having to pay for a replacement transmission that Nissan knew about.

I am on the highway and the car is barely moving and have to pull onside of the road to restart it. I am in the city at the light and the car won't move I have to turn the car off and restart in order for it to move. I am at the light, and the car hesitates and it slips and shoots into another gear and I am flying up the road. Why must I be responsible for something that I let the dealer know long before it got to this point? I bet that they don't have a record of me advising them of this trouble.
