I rented a Nissan Rogue Sport from Hertz in Apple Valley, CA. I had the vehicle for 9 days. On the 8th day, while driving an odorless white smoke poured out from the vents. Not knowing what the issue was, we pulled over and let the vehicle rest. There were no other signs of issues. No warning signs at all. Let the car rest for 30 plus minutes. Went to drive again and the smoke continued as long as the air conditioner was on. It was 103 outside, and I was unable to drive with the air conditioner.

Took the car back to Hertz in Apple Valley, CA and they expressed that this was a new issue they had never heard of before. Did not give any explanation as to why this happened. Spoke to a friend who said it was freon gas release. That a cracked air conditioning hose either broke or separated causing the odorless smoke. After thinking more about my trip, I realized that I had a headache the entire trip when I was in the vehicle. As soon as I rolled down the windows, my headache went away. So with the extra stress of the vehicle, I realized the potential of more serious physical issues. Since it was a rental, I will not be able to find out the actual cause of the issue.
