The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Sentra equipped with Bridgestone turanza tires, size 205/60R/15. The contact stated that the vehicle was parked when he noticed that there was a bubble on the tread of the rear driver side tire. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and the contact was informed that the failure was due to a road hazard. As a result, the tires were not covered under warranty. The tire was not repaired or replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 21,000.
