When I took the truck in for problems with my brakes the mechanic made me aware of the issues with the rear axle seals. These trucks have some serious problems. Last time I will buy Nissan. I have a hard body I purchased when I was 19 it has almost 400,000 miles on this truck and was the reason i went back to nissan. However, I see the engineers that designed this truck must have either left the company or died. These guys do not stand behind their product. I called Nissan America and they told me they had no complaints on about the Nissan Titan. BS!!!!

I was told i not only need to get the rear axle seal replaced but i need a whole new rear axle shaft. This same issue has been stated by MANY others on various websites on the web. I spoke with a CS rep from Nissan Canada and she told me its not a "safety issue" and that it wouldn't be recalled. She said however it could be service captained if their techs find an issue during testing. Being hung up on by a service person at the stealership, and getting no answers... im pissed! If you have the same issue, call, email, do whatever you can to get this recalled or service campained.

FIRST and LAST Nissan I EVER BUY!
