When slowing to a stop, twice the engine has stalled and twice it sounded like it was about to stall but instead came out of gear. When it came out of gear the shift knob still indicated "D" but the light was flashing and the instrument panel said to shift into park and then back into drive
Last night I parked my truck in my driveway like I been doing since I had the truck which I bought new and last night I parked like I usually do and this morning I was informed that my truck has rolled out out the spot where I left it to the edge of the street while still in park. It could have backed into another vehicle or even worse a kid
I've had the vehicle for two weeks parking it on a flat street. I pulled it in my driveway for the first time (which has a slight slope down toward the sidewalk/city street behind). Set the rotary dial to park and exited. I came back 8 hours later and the vehicle had rolled about 12 feet down across the sidewalk to the edge of the city street. I pulled the vehicle back up the driveway and this time set the parking brake before exiting. I stood for several minutes and observed a creaking sound as the vehicle continued to slowly roll again. After about an hour it had again rolled 1-2 feet down the driveway even with the parking break engaged. I put split firewood behind the back wheels to prevent it from rolling further.

A driver and passenger stopped near an exit gate. The gate is old and takes two people to close and lock. After the driver stopped, the vehicle was place in "park" but left running, and the drvier got out of the vehicle to assist in closing the gate. After closing the gate, they turned around and saw the vehicle moving, it rolled down an approximately 10 foot embankment and rolled about 50 feet hitting a pipe rail fence went over the fence and landed 10 feet down past the pipe rail and stopped on top of large rip-rap. The vehicle was not drivable. This the second time this vehicle has rolled while in 'park' within the past eleven days.
I scheduled an appnt. At 8:30 a.M. to the dealership on northlake blvd. In lake park, fl and they never did any recall repairs to my vehicle nor called and said they would not be able to complete repairs to my vehicle when I picked it up approx. 3:35 P.M. I was given the runaround after making repeated attempts to get the status of my vehicle via telephone at 1:30 P.M. and again at 3:00 P.M. I was transferred to voice mails of people who had already left for the day. Finally, when I arrived for my vehicle and spoke with alberto, he said they close at 4 and he's the person I spoke to around 1:30 who said my vehicle would be ready around 3:00. No one made any attempts to contact me about my truck since 8:30, Saturday morning which is terrible customer service.
Cannot put it to work it will not haul a trailer, can't drive because it will turn off in bumpy roads, been marking ' shift to desire gear to drive' we have been fighting with people from the Agency ( don davis ) and they say they cannot find problems. Changed shift cragter twice, no luck! I took it with the enginge like turned on and can't seem to find a 'code' the truck starts shaking up before it turns off completely. It's a matter of safety for myself and my family.
Ram comes out of car wash and transmission will not engage into drive immediately. Have to step on brake more than once to engage. Took it the dealership numerous times and they concluded that this was normal.
On February I drove from my home several miles to a fast food restaurant taking an interstate on the way. I used my cruise control on my way there and just pressed the brake to disengage it when I exited the interstate. I then continued to the drive to the restaurant where I pulled into a line to the drive through window as I moved through the line I would apply my brake to stop and as cars pulled forward I just let my foot off the brake to slowly move forward then pressed the brake again to stop. I did this several times then suddenly when I took my foot off the brake my truck suddenly accelerated and ran into the car in front of me before I could stop it. The driver of the other vehicle and I were not injured and drove to the parking lot to exchange insurance information. Since the time of the accident I recently checked for recalls om my truck and found one related to the cruise control NHTSA # 18V-332 which could be related to my accident. I have recently had the recall service done June 30, 2018 at my local Dodge dealer.
The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. While driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled and shifted to the park position. On November 24, 2017 the vehicle was placed in park using the mounted knob gear shifter. The driver was going to remove items from the bed of the truck into a bulk trash area in the driver's housing development. The bulk trash area is a 3-wall concrete dumpster hider, with no dumpster inside (as shown in picture). The passenger exited the vehicle prior to the driver exiting. After exiting the vehicle and walking towards back of the truck, the truck began to roll backwards, ultimately hitting the concrete barrier that brought the vehicle to a stop. Upon re-entering the vehicle., the driver noted that the knob gear shifter was in "reverse". the driver immediately called insurance provider to file claim, as well as fca, the vehicle's manufacturer. Fca sent an investigator while the truck was at the body shop to assess vehicle. Owner also brought vehicle to Ram dealership subsequent to body repairs for inspection. Ram said because incident could not be reproduced, issue did not exist. Owner has owned vehicle since November 2014 and this was the first time this incident occurred. As such, duplication is not predictable. Fca placed blame on parking brake not being utilized.

Truck when placed in park has rolled away from me into the roadway on more then5 occasions. Truck was parked and the parking break was in-gauged T, keys where not in the vehicle and this occurred more then 5 minutes after the truck was parked.
My truck has a rotary switch used to switch between park, reverse, neutral and drive. My vehicle was running and I was in drive. I stopped and turned the switch three places to the left. This put the vehicle in park. I left the engine running. I exited the vehicle and left the driver door open. I leaned over to look at something and when I turned around the truck was rolling backwards. I ran after the truck but could not catch it and it crashed into another truck that I own. My truck came to a stop and when I got back into the vehicle it was in reverse. Thankfully no one was injured but my truck suffered moderate damage. This all occurred on private property so there was no police report filed.
