Never owned a car (Volvo 200K, Honda 180K) that required a new rack and pinion. Now, a clock spring? Toyota parts guy said he had lots in stock because so many people have had to have them replaced. What does it take for Toyota to issue a recall? The bills keep mounting. Thought this was a reliable car. Don't have much "play" money for repairs.
