After five phone calls I finally got an appointment for the recall. My car sat with the hood up from 11:00am to 3:00pm for me to be told they can't get the airbag light off. I was told I need to purchase an airbag cable for $485.99 + tax.

Takata recall, I got a recall notice on my Toyota's airbag system back in may of 2005. It stated to take care of this problem immediately. I called clearwater Toyota to get an appointment. Said they didn't have ant parts in stock, will get back with me. They never did. Called again Oct 2, 2005' they told me the mgr. Would get in touch with me. Well, it's Nov. 18 and no call yet. This has been going on since June 2005. Aggravated to say the least.
