Takata recall - I live in Florida, a high humidity area, and received a notice early 2017 regarding this recall. I was informed that it would be best for no one to ride in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Several months have passed and I have not been notified of when the repairs could be made. I called the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. It seems the materials will not be available to repair the defective airbag until December of 2017, if then. This vehicle is our mode of transportation for work, visiting family and attending church. We need to be able to use the passenger seat. The amount of time it is taking to make the necessary repairs is, in my opinion, extreme. The birth of our child has increase the concern we have about riding in this vehicle. This defect has been known for over a year and efforts to make the repairs should have already been made with the number of vehicles affected.
