Takata recall car is not authorized to ship overseas (military pcs) without recall remedy. No remedy is available therefore, I can not ship the car. So, I must sell this car and buy another in Hawaii-just not fair or right because a remedy should be available. Problem has been known since January 2017, why is it taking so long for a remedy and will military personnel be given priority for rapairs as associated with pcs oconus moves?
"takata recall" Toyota recommends "that we do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat " I bought this car because is a family car and I need to drive my daughter to school and go to work, I am very stressed just thinking that I have to go through this with a car I thought was safe and reliable. I can't believe they sell us this car knowing they have a problem and for some many years they still don't have a solution for this problem.
Takata recall received recall notice from Toyota regarding takata front passenger airbag on my 2012 Toyota Corolla. Recall notice received in March 2017. The notice states that driving with a front passenger is a safety risk and to not operate the vehicle with a front passenger. After contacting Toyota customer service I was informed that the remedy will not be available until September 2017 at the earliest. I am submitting this complaint as I believe that Toyota is unable to remedy the defect in a reasonable time. Please provide recourse so as to ensure Toyota is proactive is responding to this safety issue.
Takata recall - I contacted my local Toyota dealerships and the replacement airbags are still not available without an eta. This is disappointing as I travel a lot, while being concerned about my passenger seat driver's safety. I would like to know if this replacement can be expedited to ensure driver safety.

Takata recall - I received a notice that my airbags were being recalled and would get additional information in the future. I did not receive any news for a month or so and decided to call. I am being told the target for my replacement is December 2017. It maybe sooner or later depending on the supply of parts. They also advised me not to have a front passenger in the vehicle. This seems like an unrealistic ask of most people who own a four door car. What are may options in this situation?

Takata recall I received a recall notice in February. I called my local Toyota dealership, and they informed me that I would receive the next notice within 3-4 weeks, however, I have not received such notice or any updates regarding this matter. I have not been able to operate my vehicle with an occupant in the passenger seat for nearly 2 months. Toyota has not dealt with this in a timely manner, although they informed me otherwise. It has been 2 months when they claimed it would take no longer than 3-4 weeks.
