Takata recall in February 2017, I received a safety recall notice from Toyota. I was informed that Toyota was preparing a remedy and would send a second notice when a remedy becomes available. Nine months later--no second notification has been received, and my dealership, in August, said it has not received repair parts. As instructed by Toyota, I have not allowed riders in my front passenger seat. For nine month, limiting the number of passengers who can be transported is a considerable inconvenience.
Takata recall -as of 11/1/17 Toyota has not been able to replace airbags as there has not been a remedy provided. The recall notice was received early 2017 and the year is almost over. I have grand kids and no other car to drive. Need fixed asap!
Takata recall 17V006. I received a notice of the recall from my local dealer (lynch Toyota) in March 2017. I have contacted lynch Toyota in manchester, ct about every 2 months, but the solution is not yet available. My transportation is fully dependent on my vehicle and so I expose myself to severe injury daily. My vehicle was also purchased in puerto rico and run in the most humid and hot part of the West coast of the island for one year, which aggravates the situation greatly since probability of failure of the air bags is increased with humidity and heat. I fear for my safety every day, but I cannot afford to pause my life indefinitely either because this important safety feature has not been corrected.
Takata recall problems I have contacted the dealership on a couple of occasions. To try a schedule the replacements with no luck. They tell me "recall incomplete, remedy not yet available" does this mean I will have to wait until something happens and someone is hurt" this is not acceptable! should I contact my lawyer now"

Takata recall. I am filing a complaint that the manufacturer has failed to find a remedy for this recall in a timely manner. A remedy is still unavailable, and it has been nearly a year since the recall was issued. That is far too long to wait for a safety repair, while I have myself and passengers at risk of injury or death on a daily basis.
Takata recall. My vehicle has an active recall according to airbagrecall.com and has since January of 2017, but Toyota still hasn't come up with a remedy (also per the website). I received notification that takata's bankruptcy proceedings require that any claims be filed before December 27, 2017. Does this mean I should be going to replace the airbag, and counting on getting reimbursed? airbagrecall.com tells me to contact a Toyota dealer, which I plan to do, but the lack of clear instructions that has persisted for months is not acceptable.
Takata recall: The defective airbag issue has been known for multiple years yet no dealership is able to replace/repair the airbags I am told because the manufacturer has not made the parts yet. Also, I cannot find any information online or through a dealership that indicates when such parts might be made and the service scheduled. I continue to receive notices in the mail that this is a dangerous defect and could potentially cause serious harm or death. My 16 year old son drives this vehicle. I would like the situation remedied as soon as possible.
The remedy is still unavailable. I realize that these recalls and fixes are not an easy task, however, I feel that this amount of time is a bit much and has turned into more than just a slight inconvenience. It was recommended that I do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the passenger seat so I have not been able to use my car for the intended Transport I purchased it for (still paying every month for). It has been ten months now since the initial notice and this is very frustrating. I've even considered trading my car in but I really do love my car, I would just like to be able to use it for my intended purpose, safely. When will this fix be available and how long will it take to fix?
Takata recall - I've been contacting my local Toyota dealer since the first recall notice in January and they still say the part is not available. I'm running out of time to get this fixed.
I have been trying to get my airbag replaced ever since the initial recall was issued in January 2017. It is now almost 10 months later, and Toyota is still unable to fix the issue. The current status (as of October 25th, 2017) is: "Toyota is currently preparing the remedy for this condition and will provide additional information as it becomes available. The remedy, when available, will consist of the replacement of the airbag inflator or the airbag assembly, depending on the vehicle model." Is this ever going to get fixed?
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2012 Toyota Corolla. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V006000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer (Toyota of hollywood in hollywood, fl (frank ellis: 954-966-2150)) confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
Takata recall - airbags should be replaced and have not been contacted, recall active since Jan 2017, was in an accident on 5/15/2017, airbags were never deployed but am just providing that to provide complete disclosure
