I was driving back from vacation in my trusted Toyota - when all the lights on the dashboard came on (on route 84), and temperature went to low - car still drivable so made it home but really stressed - local garage finally found there was a recall for the 2006 for the intelligent power module and Toyota fixed it but now my trust level is zero for the hybrid and i am past warranty in case there is another problem - I found out the price can be $8000 plus if the inverter goes which was never disclosed to me when i bought it - not happy that I never heard about this recall - dealership way too laid back about it - I always buy Toyotas since I trust them to not fail big time like this - just got the timing belt for that reason - come on Toyota - look at the internet and all the stressed out clients you have! Also, I am out $300 for a car rental - no effort to help with that. Is it time to check out Honda?
