Factory Installed Alarm system - horn starts beeping, killed engine. Called dealership who said press some red "power" button to left of dash & it resets everything. Left for 2 week trip, returned on midnight flight. Problem reoccurred while driving home from airport. Pulled over to try and re-enact the power button ... engine died. Glad it didn't happen while on the interstate. Had to have someone come and jump battery. Brought to dealer next day who said it was the battery. Then when finished said it was short in the system between alarm and battery. They replaced battery and supposedly repaired problem. Noticed that when I lock the car the horn beeps once (as it should) & realized that had not occurred for the longest time. Here I am 2 weeks later and realizing the horn isn't beeping anymore when I lock the car -- it should beep once. I hear a faint buzz sound in the steering column that is intermittent - like a wire shorting so taking back again today. Bought car from dealer and have had it serviced regularly for oil changes, 15K service, etc.
