Both of my headlights burned out at the same time. Seriously, I was driving along with headlights one minute and the next I'm in pitch blackness! I was using my adaptive headlights on a curvy mountain road. With no warning at all, I just had no lights. It was horrifying! No brights, no low beams - nothing! I switched on the fog lights and was able to use those to get home, driving very slowly. I thought this car was safe with all the features. I am so disappointed in my Rav4 and have zero confidence about making this drive again knowing now that this is a legit defect and will just happen to me again.
It's basically a new car - 28 months old with 35K miles. Should have kept my old 187K SUV. I was dealing with the same issues and thought a new car would eliminate this, but guess not.
