My original transmission was replaced with a re-manufactured transmission when the car had less than 20k miles.
The re-manufactured transmission is very noisy and makes different whooshing and whining noises throughout different gears and speed.
The tech, the service manager, and the service director from the dealer all test drove the vehicle, and they all noticed the noises but had no clue how to fix it.
The issue escalated to Toyota HQ who determined the noise is not an issue as long as it operates, and then the dealer decided not to address the noise and concluded it's all normal. They discarded the fact the noises were not there before they replaced the transmission with a re-manufactured one.
