The contact owns a?2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. The contact stated that the vehicle had unintended acceleration at stop signs and red lights. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed as having no failure. Four days later, the failure recurred and the vehicle crashed approximately 6 - 8 feet into the corner of the contact's residence. None of the air bags deployed upon impact. The contact received medical treatment the next day for bruising from her neck to groin, a torn rotator cuff, and neck and back injuries. Police and fire department reports were filed. The insurance company had not deemed the vehicle totaled. The vehicle remained at the contact's residence.
