The contact owns a 2000 Toyota Sienna. The vehicle is equipped with a thule hitching post pro 935X2. The contact received a recall notification and attempted to call the 1-800 number on several occasions. She has been unsuccessful because the telephone number provided in the notice is disconnected. The purchase date and part, serial, and recall numbers were unknown. There had been no failure to date. The current mileage was 90,000.
Tread separation, D10L dot pdmo imgi 1300 09R dot pdmo imhr 1300 details - I purchased the two tires shown above on 7/7/2000 to replace two of the original tires. I still have the two bum Goodyear tires in my garage. This was on a 2000 Toyota siena minivan with only 9,916 miles. I purchased it new. On 8/9/2001 with 28,923 miles I had the tires rotated, but the technician could not balance them. He showed me where the tread of both tires was separating from the body. The Goodyear dealer that sold me the tires said I could get replacement but no money back. Thus I kept the tires and went to another shop. Fluid leak around the transmission pan gasket. Repaired 3 times by 2 different Toyota dealers. Easy job but maybe it is a deeper problem? transmission did not shift when cold for about 2 miles after the first and second time it was "fixed." After the third time trying to stop the oil leak, they adjusted the throttle cable and now it seems to shift more normally in cold mornings. Since new, the left sliding manual door was hard to open from the inside. After 2 trips for "adjustments" the door is opening correctly.
The vehicle was only provided with a hole in the frame for a tether strap on the left center isle seat, the dealer refuses to drill a hole in the frame so the hardware can be installed for another strap for her other child. Nlm
