The vehicle experienced a brake problem. The calipers were missing the retaining rings. The rubber boots were pulled into the brake cylinder which caused brake failure. The Toyota mfr refused to acknowledge the problem. The consumer was unaware of the low brake fluid function given through the emergency brake light indication. The vehicle was losing fluid at a slow rate more so in the right wheel than in the left. The consumer requested reimbursement. The consumer stated the dust boot retaining rings on the calipers were never installed at the manufacturer
