Embarrassing and not sure if it is a safety issue. Don't really know where to turn since I've had 2 mechanics look at it and had rear brakes replaced.

Dealer replaced rear brakes at very high cost. After that, brakes squeal when applying while in reverse. Technician claims he could not reproduce. Service writer says that all of his vehicles' brakes squeal when applying in reverse. (Same liar I have dealt with before!) I have never had this problem in over 50 years of driving! Will live with problem until I can reproduce it at dealership or independent repair shop. May happen only when brakes are cold. Will investigate.
