After first washing, tiny rust spots are showing up on the back hatch of our white 2014 Sienna which also had the protective coating put on. I am going to dealer today to see what they are planning to do about it, but that does not assure me that this is not going to be a problem down the road. We keep our vehicles for at least 100,000 miles.
I am seeing other complaints on web sites about this. So far Toyota isn't responding to this problem.
