Where did Toyota come up with this lemon of a bluetooth system? It has limited contact entry capability, not user friendly for the non technically adept, has a very difficult time understanding simple voice commands. ie: Call home sounds too much like call john, call Bob sounds too much like call Ron etc. Why didn't they save themselves the embarrassment and just put aftermarket stereos with bluetooth in their new cars?
Update from Oct 28, 2011: Even after the stereo was replaced the bluetooth is still no better. 30000 dollar car and we have to go back to our old aftermarket bluetooth devices which actually work great. Pretty sad the quality of some of the components Toyota is putting in their higher end vehicles now. If I knew then what I know now my choice would definately be swayed in another direction.
