Venza 4 cyl

Intermittence braking. When the brakes are intitially applied, the car will stop, however, after a few seconds the brakes would release on its own and the car would continue to move. I would have to continuously pump the brakes to get the car to stop. While sitting at a stop sign or stop light the car will stop for more than a few seconds, the brakes would release on its own. I would once again have to continuously pump the brakes until I was able to drive. Shortly after, the brakes completely went out and then all the sensors and warning lights came on. After the car was in the repair shop for over two weeks, the service department assumed they repaired the problem by replacing different parts of the braking system, however, once I drove the car out of the service department, twenty mintues later, the brakes failed again. The car has been in Toyota's service shop for ever since. This is truly a safety issue. Buyers be ware.
