Upon startup and in movement, warning dash lights come on. Indicating check engine and traction control, simultaneously and remain on. Return to authorized dealer, diagnostic complete. 02 sensor bank 1&2 corrected. Problem has returned.
It was around 10:30am and I was on my way to work. Driving on a local road and the brake light, ABS and stability lights came on. I pulled over and turned off the car. Pressed on the parking brake released it and then re-started the car and all the warning lights went off. About 5 miles later the lights came on again and now they light up as soon as the car is started.
The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that the vehicle stability control failed. The vehicle stability control system would engage when making turns and the vehicle would begin to pull off of the roadway. In order to correct the failure. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on eight occasions, where they were unable to remedy the failure. The vehicle stability control sensor was reprogrammed and replaced, but the failure continued. The failure mileage was 1,400 and the current mileage was 14,000. Updated 09/02/11 the consumer stated while driving, the vsc light illuminated and there was a dragging sound. The vehicle then pulled back in the opposite direction. At times, the vsc light would stay on for a while and then go off, other times it would stay on and the master warning light would illuminate. The ABS would engage and the vehicle would over correct.
