The vehicle was purchased in October 2022. It started to lose oil after we had synthetic oil put in for an oil change. We lost 2 quarts at that time. We went to Toyota Service several times for oil consumption tests. WE did at least 2 consumption tests. WE lost at least 2 quarts of oil at a 1,000 miles each. WE also lost oil at other times. Recently we had a PCV value replaced thinking that that may be the problem at the Toyota repair. However, 3 days ago I checked the oil at 400 more miles. It was down 3/4's of a quart of oil.
We have done extensive research on the internet and have found that Toyota has consumption issues with many of their vehicles. They are replaced with pistons and rings. This is very pricey.
