All wiring under the hood were melted down. All wires were open touching each other. Car didn't even start now I feel ecm is blown out. Worst experience ever the Chrysler. Even 30 year old Toyota or Ford never had problem with wiring melt down. This is very serious issue. I thing company is doing intentionally so customers buy new car.

wiring harness melted on the engine wiring harness melted on the engine

Here is another 3.8L Town & Country injector wiring harness victim. Combination of Heat and the location (under the power steering reservoir.. yes it is 10 years old but i have had 40 year old vehicles with much better wiring. Dodge / Chrysler has had thousands of these failures yet claim no ownership of the problem (sound familiar). This failure has also killed the PCM. Original DTC P0205 short circuit wiring killed fuel injector driver circuit (cavity 15 on pcm)

$350 for pcm. $5 for tape. . longitudinal and spiral wrap each, spiral wrap bundle with duct tape then wrap with foil dead-soft HVAC tape. re-position wiring could have ordered another wiring harness for $249 OEM or $149 aftermarket...or how about Chrysler isolating sensitive wiring away from heat and oil.

very disappointed that Chrysler let a wiring harness contact the engine block. have changed over 300 $ of parts to find the cause of P0300, P0302, P0304, P0172 and other random confusing codes. Engine runs like crap, then it is fine the next day.

Remove the Power steering reservoir (lift it up and right a little) and fine the injector wiring harness. Follow it back to the big connector back there and remove the insulation wrap and inspect those inside wires. There ar emany complaints for this online!!!!! Should be a recall!!!! r
