CarComplaints.com Notes: Chances are you didn't want to have to buy a used minivan, but chances are you _also_ didn't realize how much stuff you need to travel with kids. When it comes to hauling around piles of diaper bags and coolers full of snacks, you could do worse than the 2004 Town & Country. Especially when you compare it to the 2005.

It seems that after filling the van with fuel the engine wants to hesitate or stall completely. It has always restarted but runs rough for a few seconds after restarting. It always seems to happen after it is refueled. Mechanic did a tune up, reprogrammed the computer and still the same problem exists. It's dangerous as there is a significant loss of steering control. It has happened many times. Today my wife and daughter were in it getting ready to turn across two lanes of traffic and it stalled as they were making the turn.

It is related to the first stop after refueling whether it is a block away from the station or several miles before I stop. It's dangerous as there is a significant loss of steering control.
